Correction (1 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed five Sunbury breakfast venues, with seat counts, dinner-time opening hours, prices and “insider tips”, that we could not match to any real cafe at any source we checked. It has been rewritten from scratch. Every cafe below was confirmed at two independent sources, and every price was copied from the cafe’s own current menu on 1 October 2026.

Sunbury’s breakfast is a two-street affair: three of the cafes below are on O’Shanassy Street and three are on Evans Street. The five menus we could read run from a $13.90 plate of eggs on toast to a $31.90 “Mr Big”, with a senior’s special and a benny on every one of the five menus in between.

What follows is built from menus and listed hours, not from a visit: the dish worth the price, the roaster where the cafe names one, and when the kitchen actually opens. Sweet or savoury, pick a lane.

The early one. Krash & Co’s site describes it as Sunbury’s local ritual since 2016 and advertises “6:00 AM Starts”. On 1 October 2026 its website’s menu page showed a mailing-list sign-up rather than a menu, so there are no prices here. The specials it named on 1 October 2026 included an Avo Smash, Biscoffe French Toast and Mushroom Portobello Fritters.

Roaster: not stated.

Go for: an early coffee. Its site pitches the 6:00 AM fuel-up at early-bird commuters.

Quick answers

Where is the best breakfast in Sunbury?

It depends on the plate. For a benny, The Spotted Owl (93 O’Shanassy St) lists a Pork Benny at $25.00 and names Axil as its roaster; 8 Oaks (7 O’Shanassy St) lists Eggs Benedict at $25.00. For a value breakfast, The Nook Cafe (111 Evans St) has a $17 Senior Breakfast Special with a small coffee. Prices are from each cafe’s own menu on 1 October 2026.

Which Sunbury cafe opens earliest for breakfast?

Of these six, Krash & Co at 46 Evans St advertises 6:00 AM starts on its own site. The Spotted Owl, The Nourish Eatery and The Jolly Miller all list 7am weekday openings, and 8 Oaks opens at 7:30am with the kitchen from 8am. Check before a weekend or public holiday, when some hours change.

Can I get takeaway breakfast in Sunbury?

Yes. 8 Oaks takes takeaway orders through its own website, The Spotted Owl links to delivery ordering from its site, and The Nourish Eatery delivers through Uber Eats and Menulog. Online ordering prices can differ from the table menu.

What does breakfast cost in Sunbury?

On the five menus we could read, two eggs on toast run from $13.90 (The Nourish Eatery) to $16.90 (The Jolly Miller). A benny is $19 to $26.90, and the big cooked plates are $26 to $31.90. How we checked

On 1 October 2026 we read each cafe’s own website, menu PDF or table-ordering menu and copied every dish and price exactly as printed. The Spotted Owl’s prices come from the menu page on its own site; 8 Oaks’ from its me&u table menu, linked from 8oaks.com.au; The Nourish Eatery’s, The Nook’s and The Jolly Miller’s from the menu PDFs on their own sites. Krash & Co’s menu page showed a mailing-list sign-up, so it has no prices here. We confirmed every address at a second, independent source: the Australian Good Food Guide, or Sunbury Square’s store directory for The Jolly Miller. Menus, specials and surcharges change, and online ordering can cost more than the counter. The photos are illustrative, from Unsplash: they show the kind of dish, not the cafe’s own food.
