Italian food in Sunbury splits into three kinds of place, and this guide sorts them that way: one sit-down restaurant, one deli and three pizza shops that take takeaway or delivery orders. All five are in Sunbury.
Each entry says what the venue’s own pages claim, names the style only where the menu does, and notes takeaway or booking details as published. Where a price was printed we copied it exactly; where a menu loads by script and we could not pair items with prices, we print none and say why.

Itahlia — Sunbury Cinema Complex, 25-47 Horne Street, Sunbury VIC 3429
Itahlia sits in the Sunbury Cinema Complex, and its site lists hours as Mon–Sun: 11:30AM - LATE. Its dine-in menu prints Pomodoro Fresco [V] at $23.00 and Frutti Di Mare at $26.00; the first name means fresh tomato, and the second, “fruits of the sea”, is the usual Italian menu term for mixed seafood. The same menu carries a heading WOODFIRE PIZZA (12”), so the woodfire claim is the menu’s own wording. AGFG tags the venue with Vegan Options and Vegetarian Options.

Amalfi Pizza & Pasta (Sunbury) — Shop 2, 30-40 Evans Street, Sunbury VIC 3429
Amalfi Pizza & Pasta takes delivery orders: its ordering site lists delivery as 04:30pm - 12:45am. Sunbury Square’s listing says it offers classic, deluxe, gourmet and custom pizzas, plus calzones (folded pizza parcels), pasta and salads, and gives Friday and Saturday as 11:30am – 2:00am. The ordering page prints 5 PACK CAULIFLOWER BITES at $9.50 and BBQ DRUMETTES 6PCS at $12.50, but the pizza list loads by script, so we could not read pizza prices.

Aldente Delicatessen — Shop 1, Sunbury Square Shopping Centre, Evans Street, Sunbury VIC 3429
Aldente is a deli (a shop that sells prepared and packaged foods) rather than a restaurant, so read it as a stop for ingredients, gelato and platters. Its site mentions Italian gelato and specialty pantry staples, Fresh Roasted Coffee Daily and Platters Made Just For You. It lists hours as Mon–Sat: 9am–5pm and Sun: 10am–5pm, and we could not find a published price list.
Verdict for: a gelato, coffee or platter stop rather than a sit-down meal, going by what its own site lists.
Batman Pizza — 24 Batman Avenue, Sunbury VIC 3429
Batman Pizza says it offers both pickup and delivery, and delivers to Diggers Rest and Sunbury. Its menu prints Margherita Pizza at $13.20 with tomato, cheese and oregano, and no pizza size is printed beside it. The Carbonara is priced at $18.30 on the same menu with bacon, egg, parmesan cheese and white wine in a cream sauce; a Roman carbonara traditionally skips the cream, so this is a cream-based version. Its site lists Monday, Wednesday and Thursday as 5pm to 8:45pm, Friday and Saturday as 5pm to 9:45pm, and Sunday and Tuesday as closed, but an undated closure notice sits on its menu page, so confirm it is trading.

Spontini Pizzeria Sunbury — 2/57 Phillip Drive, Sunbury VIC 3429
Spontini Pizzeria Sunbury is at 2/57 Phillip Drive, and its site shows a Takeaway hours table. That table lists Monday and Tuesday as closed, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday as 4:30 PM - 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday as 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM. Its ordering site loads by script, so we could not pair menu prices with items and print none, and we found no stated pizza style.
Menu tells: the page we read shows hours and a takeaway service type, but we could not reliably match its prices to items, so check the live ordering page.
