Correction (3 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources between 2 October 2026 and 3 October 2026, and every price was copied from the page it was published on.

Four places had enough on the public record for us to stand behind them, and none has a Tottenham address. Two are in Yarraville, one is in Seddon and one is in Footscray, so this is Japanese food in and around Tottenham.

Only one of the four is a sushi restaurant: Kawa-Saké Sushi Boat. The other three carry Japanese dishes on wider menus. Coracle lists shokupan, home-style meals and ramen, Miss An’am sells sushi and nori hand rolls, and West 48 has a chicken katsu sando.

Each section decodes one dish and gives the menu price. Hours are attributed to the source that lists them.

Kawa-Saké Sushi Boat — 3 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013

OpenStreetMap tags Kawa-Saké as a sushi restaurant. AGFG lists dinner from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday, with Monday closed. The DoorDash page shows a Full Menu window of 5:00 pm–8:55 pm.

The prices below come from that DoorDash store page, which says prices are set directly by the merchant, so in-store prices may differ. We did not read a menu on a site of its own. The Grilled Salmon Bento is $29.50 and the Chicken Katsu Don + Curry Sauce is $24.50. Chirashi Sushi is $26.90, Sashimi is $28.00 and the Grilled Set Meal is $30.50.

On the menu (copied from doordash.com on 3 October 2026):

  • Grilled Salmon Bento: $29.50
  • Chicken Katsu Don + Curry Sauce: $24.50
  • Chirashi Sushi: $26.90
  • Sashimi: $28.00

Decoder: chirashi is a bowl of sashimi laid over sushi rice, a bento is a boxed meal, and a katsu don is a crumbed cutlet over rice.

Coracle — 63-65 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013

Coracle’s site lists “Shokupan _ Japanese Milk Bread” and “Japanese Home-style meals include rice, protein, soup, side dishes”. It also lists “Rice, grilled market fish, soup, side dishes, pickle vegetables, tea”. The one price we could read is the Old school classic garlic miso ramen at $29.

Hours differ by source. The own site says “Monday - Sunday : 7:00-15:00 Tuesday: CLOSED”. On OpenStreetMap the times are 07:30 to 15:00 for Monday and for Wednesday through Friday, 08:00 to 15:00 across Saturday and Sunday, with Tuesday marked as closed. The menu page is headed with an autumn date while the site says “IT’S SPRING”, so check what is on the menu now.

On the menu (copied from coracledining.com on 3 October 2026):

  • Old school classic garlic miso ramen: $29

How to order: the site separates brewing, listed at 7:00-15:00, from cooking at 8:00 till 14:00 or when food is sold out.

Miss An’am — 86a Charles Street, Seddon VIC 3011

Miss An’am describes a “Vietnamese-inspired” lunch. Its site also lists “Nori (seaweed) hand rolls served with pickled ginger, wasabi and soy (optional)”. A nori hand roll is a cone of seaweed wrapped around rice and a filling.

The sushi is $4.80/EA., and the menu notes “Daily until sold out, please check with our staff for availability”. The Breakfast Banh Mi is $17.50 and the Vegerarian Banh Mi is $16.50, which is the menu’s own spelling. Hours are listed as “M-F: 7.00 – 3.00 Sat: 8.00 – 3.00”. OpenStreetMap’s hours agree with the site’s.

On the menu (copied from missanam.com.au on 3 October 2026):

  • SUSHI: $4.80/EA.
  • Breakfast Banh Mi: $17.50
  • Vegerarian Banh Mi: $16.50
  • Peking duck (H): $6.00/each

Menu says: sushi at $4.80/EA., available daily until sold out.

West 48 — 48 Essex Street, Footscray VIC 3011

West 48 is a brunch cafe, and its menu lists a Chicken Katsu Sando at $23. A katsu sando is a crumbed, fried cutlet in sandwich bread. The rest of the printed prices are Eggs Your Way at $14, Fruit Toast at $12 and a Bacon & Egg Roll at $14.

The site lists Monday to Saturday 8am to 2pm and Sunday 9am to 2pm. The menu PDFs carry a footnote about surcharges, so read it before you order. Its own site and OpenStreetMap say Footscray 3011, while AGFG lists the same street address as West Footscray 3012.

On the menu (copied from west48.com.au and west48.com.au/West-48-Sandwich-Menu-2026.pdf on 3 October 2026):

  • Chicken Katsu Sando: $23
  • Eggs Your Way: $14
  • Fruit Toast: $12
  • Bacon & Egg Roll: $14

Decoder: the menu lists it as Chicken Katsu Sando, and “sando” is the Japanese shorthand for sandwich.

How we checked

We checked every place on this page against at least two independent sources between 2 October 2026 and 3 October 2026: OpenStreetMap, the Australian Good Food Guide, kravein.com.au, a delivery-platform listing and the places’ own websites. Every price is copied exactly as printed on the page linked under Sources, on 3 October 2026. Menus, prices and opening hours change, so check with the venue before you go.
