Fifteen dollars is a real budget, and it goes a fair way when you read the price board properly. This page lists six places in and around Truganina where we could copy menu items priced under that ceiling. Five are in Truganina. Rick’s Cafe & Bar is in Tarneit, so read this as cheap eats in and around the suburb.
Every amount below is the price printed on the venue’s own menu or ordering page on 3 October 2026, and each entry says what the dish is. Some menus add extras or differ between the ordering page and the shop, so we say so where the page does. A cheap feed is only cheap if the price is the price.

Garg Indian Kitchen — 290A Leakes Rd (Liberty Oil), Truganina VIC 3029
Garg’s own site gives its address as “Liberty Oil, 290A Leakes Rd”, so it trades from the service station site. It lists Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as 10:00am - 10:00pm. The Australian Good Food Guide tags it “Vegan Options”, and the site’s ordering page asks you to select “Pickup or Delivery”. The menu prints pav bhaji at $13.99, papdi chaat at $12.99, gol gappe (8pcs) at $10.99 and kachori with aloo ki sabzi at $11.99.

What it is: pav bhaji is a spiced mashed-vegetable curry served with bread rolls, and gol gappe are hollow crisp shells that you fill with spiced water.
Laroll Truganina — Warehouse 1/5 Connect Rd, Truganina VIC 3029
Laroll’s locations page gives the address as Warehouse 1/5 Connect Rd, while the Australian Good Food Guide prints it as Factory 1, 5 Connect Road. The locations page lists Truganina as Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 14:00 PM, so it suits a weekday morning or lunch run, not dinner or the weekend. The online-order menu prints banh mi with crispy pork belly at $11.90, BBQ pork at $10.90 or tofu at $9.90, and a prawn rice paper roll at $7.90. That menu notes that prices may vary from in-restaurant ones.

Cilantro Indian Restaurant — 7/211 Leakes Rd, Truganina VIC 3029
Cilantro’s own site lists the address as 7/211 Leakes Rd and Friday hours of 05:30 pm - 11 pm, so it is an evening stop. The site offers “Dine in. Pick Up. Delivery.” The menu prints dabeli at $6.99, samosa at $7.99, a cheese chutney sandwich at $8.99 and a veg frankie at $13.50. Its menu page notes that prices may vary based on add-ons, extras and sizes.

What it is: dabeli is a spiced potato filling in a bun, and a frankie is a flatbread roll with a filling. The paneer frankie is also on the menu at $14.99, still under the ceiling.
Burgertory Truganina — Shop 17, Truganina Shopping Central, 185 Woods Rd, Truganina VIC 3029
Burgertory’s locations page lists the shop as Shop17, Truganina Shopping Central, 185 Woods Rd, with hours of “All week 11am to 11pm”. Its site calls itself the “LARGEST HALAL BURGER CHAIN”. The chain menu describes the Joel as a classic beef patty with cheese, pride relish, diced onion and diced pickles in a milk bun, priced at $12. The Michael is $12 and the Gabriel (Vegetarian) is $14, and small fries are $4. The menu says you can swap to a V2 plant-based patty and vegan cheese. These are the chain-wide menu prices, and the Truganina ordering page on order.online shows higher ones, so check which price you are paying.

Inspire Thai — Shop 4/451 Leakes Rd, Truganina VIC 3029
Inspire Thai’s site gives the address as Shop 4 / 451 Leakes Road and lists “Tuesday to Sunday 12:00 pm -3:00 pm | 5:00 pm -9:30 pm”. On the Australian Good Food Guide, the listing carries the tags “Lunch Takeaway Vegan Options” and “Child Friendly”. The prices here are entrees only, from the home page menu preview: curry puff at $9.50, satay chicken at $11.50, spring rolls at $9.50 and fish cake at $9.50. The full menu page lists curries and stir-fries too, but we could not tie each of those prices to a dish, so this page does not list a main.

Rick’s Cafe & Bar — Shop 10A, 200 Hummingbird Boulevard, Tarneit VIC 3029
Rick’s is the Tarneit entry on this page. Its ordering page gives the address as 200 Hummingbird Boulevard, Tarneit, and a Bluestone estate listing on satterley.com.au gives Shop 10A/200 Hummingbird Boulevard. The ordering data prints a classic cheesy burger at $13.99 and a margherita pizza at $13.99. We found no trading-hours statement on its site on 3 October 2026, so we give no hours. The prices were read from the ordering page’s menu data, which stores bare numbers, so the dollar signs are ours.
