Correction (3 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten, and every place below was checked against its own current information.
The useful family restaurant is the one where you can find the kids’ menu, the hours and the deal terms before you leave the house. This guide lists what each place publishes, and where a page was silent we say so rather than guess.
Six places passed our checks, in and around Williams Landing. Three have a Williams Landing address (Luminous, Beit Al Kababjii and Oporto, the last by DoorDash’s address label). The others are in Truganina, Laverton and Point Cook, and each heading carries its own suburb. Only Luminous, Beit Al Kababjii, Allura Cafe and Cheeky Chewies gave us priced items from their own pages.
The quick picks
| If you’re after | Head to | Order this | Price |
|---|---|---|---|

| A priced kids’ menu | Luminous Restaurant & Bar, Williams Landing | Kids Chips & Nuggets | $14.00 |
| A pack to share | Beit Al Kababjii, Williams Landing | Family Pack 2 | $38.00 |
| A plain breakfast | Allura Cafe, Truganina | Eggs on Toast | $16 |
| A side to share | Cheeky Chewies Cafe, Laverton | Basket of Chips | $8.90 |
| A shop with a kids’ category | Oporto, Williams Landing | Kids Meals (DoorDash category) | Not printed |
Three things to confirm before you go
- The kids-eat-free terms. HomeCo.’s what’s-on page lists the Luminous special with an asterisk, and the terms were not shown on the page we read. Ask which meals count and how many children per adult.
- The kids’ menus. Luminous prints its kids’ dishes and prices on its own menu page. Cheeky Chewies lists “Kids Menu” (for kids under 12) as a menu category and Oporto’s DoorDash page lists “Kids Meals”; we captured no items or prices for those two.
- The hours. Allura’s own menu says breakfast is served daily from 8am to 2:30pm. Pint Size’s hours come from a directory, not its own site, so confirm them before you book.

Cedar Woods’ community page says “there’s something to suit the whole family!” Luminous lists 11am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 10pm on Saturday and Sunday on its own site. HomeCo.’s what’s-on page carries the line “Luminous Restaurant & Bar: Wednesday Special - Kids Eat Free on Wednesday!.*”, and the asterisk’s terms were not shown.
From the menu: the Hawaiian (the menu spells it “Hawiian”) is tomato, mozzarella, ham and pineapple at $22.00. The Margherita Pizza is napoli sauce (a simple tomato sauce), basil and mozzarella at $25.00. The Spaghetti Bolognese is $27.00 and the Beef Burger, served with fries, is $22.00.
Kids’ menu: its own menu page prints Kids Fish & Chips at $15.00, Kids Calamari & Chips at $14.00, Kids Chips & Nuggets at $14.00, Kids Mini Margherita Pizza at $14.00, Kids Mini Tropical Pizza at $14.00 and Kids Bolognese at $15.00. Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Beit Al Kababjii — Shop 19/100 Overton Road, Williams Landing VIC 3027
HomeCo. describes it as “Shawarma Charcoal Grill & Charcoal Chicken, Freshly made, packed with flavour.” Its own site lists Monday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
The family order is Family Pack 2: a whole chicken, medium chips, medium salad, a choice of dip, mixed pickles, Lebanese bread and a 1.25L drink, $38.00. Smaller orders are a quarter chicken at $7.50, a half chicken at $12.50 and a Falafel Wrap at $14.00. The wrap has parsley and tahini sauce, tomato, cucumber, red pickles and hummus; falafel are fried chickpea balls. Halal status is not stated on the pages we read, so ask.
Kids’ menu: none captured. Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Oporto — 4-10 Gadwell Crescent, Williams Landing VIC 3027
A chain shop. DoorDash labels the address Williams Landing VIC 3027, and OpenStreetMap’s entry for it carries no suburb, so check the map. DoorDash’s store page lists “Kids Meals”, a “Meal for 2” and a “Whole Chicken”, plus “NEW Late Night Menu - From 9pm”, and gives its hours as “Full Menu 11:00 am–11:44 pm”. The only prices we found are on DoorDash, which can include delivery mark-ups, so we print none. Oporto’s own site is a JavaScript app that returned no menu to us.
Kids’ menu: DoorDash lists a Kids Meals category; no items or prices captured. Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Allura Cafe — Shop 6, 320 Forsyth Road, Truganina VIC 3029
In Truganina, not Williams Landing. Its own site calls it “an all-halal menu”, and its menu page says “BREAKFAST Served Daily from 8am - 2:30pm”. AGFG tags the cafe “Child Friendly”, which is a directory tag rather than the cafe’s own statement.
We could read only its breakfast menu. Eggs on Toast (eggs your way, on toasted sourdough) is $16 and the Cheese & Tomato Toastie is $12. The Allura Breakfast is $26: eggs your way, sujuk (a spiced sausage), halloumi, labneh (strained yoghurt), olives, cucumber, tomato, za’tar, fresh herbs and Turkish bread. The Shakshuka is $24: baked eggs in a slow-cooked tomato sauce, with feta and grilled sourdough. The toastie and the eggs on toast are the plainest items on the published menu. That is our reading of the menu, not a kids’ menu.
Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Cheeky Chewies Cafe — 18A Aviation Road, Laverton VIC 3028
In Laverton. Its own site says “We are a cafe & restaurant with a diverse range of affordable meals with high quality ingredients” and lists “Mon- Fri: 7am-8.30pm Sat, Sun & Public holiday: 8am-8.30pm”. The menu has categories for “Kids Menu”, “Breakfast till 2pm” and “Vegetarian Friendly”.
Priced items we could read: a Basket of Chips (tossed in salt, with tomato sauce) at $8.90, Golden Fishballs (fried fish balls with sweet chilli sauce) at $6.90, and Eggs on the run (two eggs on toast) at $15.60. The BoBa Waffle at $20.90 comes with ice cream, tapioca pearls (the chewy balls from bubble tea), brown sugar, whipped cream, strawberry and a wafer stick. The site writes the address as 18a on one page and 18 on another; both say Aviation Road, Laverton.
Kids’ menu: the category exists, described on the menu as “For kids under 12 years old”; no items or prices captured. Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Pint Size Indian — 20 Adelphi Boulevard, Point Cook VIC 3030
In Point Cook. Its own site says “Our Point Cook location is a family friendly modern restaurant & bar” and lists “Outdoor & Indoor seating.” Its own site and AGFG both give 20 Adelphi Boulevard. Its own menu page lists categories but no prices, so none are printed here.
AGFG, a directory rather than the venue, lists dinner from 5:00 PM every day, plus a Saturday lunch from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and a Sunday opening from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Kids’ menu: none captured. Pram check: we captured nothing on prams, steps or high chairs, so ring ahead.
Pack: wipes, a spare top, and a screenshot of each menu page, since the kids’ items at Cheeky Chewies and Oporto are the part we could not capture.

How we checked
On 2 October 2026 we read each venue’s own site or menu page where one was readable. Luminous’s hours and prices are copied from luminousrestaurant.au, Beit Al Kababjii’s from its own site, Allura’s from its own breakfast menu and Cheeky Chewies’ from its own menu pages. Pint Size’s own menu page listed categories without prices. Oporto’s own site returned no menu to us, so we used DoorDash for category names and hours only, never for prices. Where a centre listing and a venue’s own site disagreed on hours, we used the venue’s own. Each address is confirmed at two sources. Menus and hours change. The photos are illustrative, from Unsplash: they show the kind of dish, not any venue’s own food.
