Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026.
This page answers one question: where can you find Thai food in and around Windsor? The honest answer is two places. One is on Chapel Street in Windsor, and one is a short hop away in St Kilda. We would rather give you a short list we can stand behind than pad it.
Both were checked against the venue’s own website and the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG). Where a fact comes from one of them, the sentence says which. Where we could not find something, such as menu prices, we say that instead of guessing.
The quick picks
| If you’re after | Head to | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Chapel Street, AGFG alfresco listing | New Wind Vietnamese /Thai Restaurant | 120 Chapel Street, Windsor |
| Thai with AGFG daily hours listed | OZZYTHAI Cafe Bar Restaurant | 17 Wellington Street, St Kilda |
New Wind Vietnamese /Thai Restaurant — 120 Chapel Street, Windsor VIC 3181
New Wind pairs Vietnamese and Thai in its name, which tells you the menu is likely to cover two national cuisines rather than one. Its own site, newwind.com.au, gives the address as 120 Chapel Street Windsor, and AGFG’s listing agrees. AGFG lists alfresco dining as a feature of the venue; that tag is the listing’s, not ours, so it is a listing detail rather than our observation. We copied no menu prices, so this page names no dishes or amounts for it.
How to order: Because the name pairs two cuisines, check which section of the menu a dish sits under before you choose, so you know which country’s cooking you are getting.
OZZYTHAI Cafe Bar Restaurant — 17 Wellington Street, St Kilda VIC 3182
OZZYTHAI Cafe Bar Restaurant has Thai in its name and sits in St Kilda, so it is the one place here outside Windsor. Its own site prints the address as 17 Wellington St, St Kilda, followed by an Order link. AGFG lists alfresco dining and shows 11:00 AM - 11:45 PM for every day of the week. AGFG is an owner-maintained directory and we found no date on the site pages we read, so treat those hours as a starting point and confirm them.
Menu says: We copied no menu prices on its pages, so use the Order link on its own site to see what is currently offered.
