Staple Pizza’s site lists ‘Pickup Delivery’, so this is a takeaway-first stop rather than a sit-down Italian room. Its menu prints a Monday Special of a Large Margherita Pizza at $11.00 (a margherita is the plain classic of tomato, mozzarella and basil, which makes it a fair test of any kitchen). Staple Pizza’s menu also prints a Parma at $20.00, the crumbed schnitzel with napoli sauce and cheese that Melbourne pubs made a staple. The PDF headed TAKE-AWAY MENU 2026 prints Chicken Parmigiana at $26.00 and the main menu PDF prints it at $30.00, so ask which price applies to how you are eating. Spaghetti Bolognese is $24.00 on its menu (it is a meat ragu on spaghetti; in Bologna itself the ragu usually goes with tagliatelle). Victoria’s Pizza & Beyond sits in Mernda, outside Wollert, and the Mernda Town Centre tenant list gives hours of ‘Everyday - 12pm - 10pm’ for the shop. Its ordering page prints Carbonara at $19.90, described as pan fried bacon, fresh spring onion, parmesan cheese and garlic in a creamy white sauce (the Roman original uses egg and cured pork rather than cream, so this is a takeaway reading of the dish). Victoria’s menu also prints a Classic Parma at $27.90, with napoli and cheese.
