Two places passed our checks for a drink near Wyndham Vale, so this is a short page: one wine bar and one pub, both on Watton Street in Werribee, the suburb next door. Each was matched against OpenStreetMap and its own website.

Bridge Hotel’s site lists Sunday to Wednesday as 12pm to 10pm, Thursday as 12pm to 11pm, and Friday and Saturday as 12pm to late. A midday start every day makes it an easy pick for an afternoon meet-up, the lowest-stakes stage. The OpenStreetMap tag lists closing times that differ on some nights, so confirm before a late plan. This page prints no price for it, and plan B is Corked Wine Bar Werribee on the same street.
