This page lists six places for a sit-down meal for two: five in Yarraville and one in South Kingsville, on Gamon, Ballarat, Anderson and Vernon streets. It is sorted for planning, so each entry says what the listings name and where they stay silent.
We checked every place against OpenStreetMap, the Australian Good Food Guide (AGFG) and its own website. Talk-ability is read from what is published, such as live music on a listing, and nothing is guessed. None of the listings we read gave accessibility detail, so ring ahead about that.
We found no menu prices to read, so none are printed. Hours come from the source named in each entry, and they can change.

Navi — 83B Gamon Street, Yarraville VIC 3013
AGFG’s hours listing for Navi shows Wednesday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, plus Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. It shows Monday, Tuesday and Sunday closed. AGFG lists Vegan Options, and gives the address as 83 Gamon Street. That listing is owner-maintained and the site carries no recent date, so confirm before you book.
Stage: Suits a planned occasion, since AGFG’s hours show set times and a closed run at the start of the week, so book rather than wander in.
Glovers — 34 Ballarat Street, Yarraville VIC 3013
Glovers’ own site lists hours of 4pm to late Wednesday to Friday, and 12pm to late on weekends. AGFG lists Vegan Options, Pet Friendly and Alfresco Dining. The address on both is 34 Ballarat Street. The site carries no recent date.
Exit plan: The site says late rather than giving a closing time, so check when the kitchen finishes before you plan the trip home.
Cafe Terroni — 18 Ballarat St, Yarraville VIC 3013
Cafe Terroni’s own site lists dine-in Tuesday to Sunday from 5:00pm. AGFG lists Child Friendly, Pet Friendly and Alfresco Dining. The address is 18 Ballarat Street, and the site carries no recent date.
Stage: Fits a plan made in advance, since its site lists dine-in only from 5:00pm and AGFG tags Alfresco Dining if you want to ask about seating.
Eleni’s Kitchen — 28 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013
Eleni’s Kitchen describes an outdoor terrace with regular plate-smashing and live music on the weekends, according to its own site. The same site lists lunch from 12:00pm to 3:00pm and dinner from 5:30pm to 10:00pm, Tuesday to Sunday. The address is 28 Anderson Street. The site carries no recent date.
Talk-ability: Live music is named for weekends only, so the weekend table points to a louder night and a weekday is the easier one for conversation.
Bar Romanee — 25 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013
Bar Romanee’s own site and AGFG both give the address as 25 Anderson Street. This page does not list its opening hours or prices, and we found no feature tags, so this is a short entry.

Motorino — 29 Vernon Street, South Kingsville VIC 3015
Motorino is just over the border in South Kingsville. Its own site lists hours of 5:00pm to 8:30pm Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, 5:00pm to 9:30pm Friday and 5:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday, with Monday closed. AGFG lists Child Friendly, BYO, Takeaway and Alfresco Dining. The site says Vegetarian, Gluten-free and Vegan options available.

AGFG lists BYO for Motorino in South Kingsville. We did not see a BYO tag for the five Yarraville places, so check each venue’s policy first. Plenty of people skip alcohol on a date, and that is worth asking about when you book.
