Correction (10 October 2026): an earlier version of this page listed places and details we could not stand behind. It has been rewritten from scratch: every place below was confirmed at two independent sources on 9 October 2026.

This page reports vegan evidence exactly as the sources print it. Six places are covered: four in Yarraville, one in Spotswood and one in Seddon. Each was confirmed at two sources.

Most of the evidence is an AGFG Vegan Options tag, which is a listing feature. Two places, Spring Rolling and Seddon Deadly Sins, say something about vegan food on their own sites, and we quote the wording. We found no priced vegan dishes, so there are no prices here.

No source we read gives a kitchen statement about shared fryers or allergens. For anything beyond a vegan preference, ask the venue directly.

Smile Buffalo — 16 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013

AGFG lists Smile Buffalo with Vegan Options and Alfresco Dining tags. The restaurant’s own site lists hours of Monday to Thursday from 5:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and Friday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The site is undated, so check currency. We did not find a vegan marker printed against individual dishes.

Ask: Which dishes can be made vegan, and whether sauces and pastes contain fish or shrimp.

Mishra’s Kitchen — 18 Wembley Avenue, Yarraville VIC 3013

AGFG lists Mishra’s Kitchen with Vegan Options, along with Child Friendly, BYO, Takeaway and Alfresco Dining. The menu we copied marks some dishes GF but does not mark vegan dishes. It describes the samosa as spiced vegetables encased in crisp pastry, which sounds plant-based but is not confirmed as vegan. Paneer is dairy, so the paneer dishes would not be vegan.

Menu markers: The menu shows GF on some dishes, but we saw no vegan marker, so ask which dishes the kitchen treats as vegan.

AGFG lists Navi with a Vegan Options tag. The AGFG hours listing shows Wednesday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, closed Monday, Tuesday and Sunday. AGFG hours are owner-maintained and may be out of date. The restaurant’s site is undated.

Ask: Whether the vegan option is a set menu or a dish by dish choice, and whether it changes through the week.

gojé — 38 Anderson Street, Yarraville VIC 3013

gojé is listed as a frozen yoghurt shop. AGFG lists it with Vegan Options, Child Friendly, Takeaway and Alfresco Dining tags, all. We have no hours to state for this place. Its own site is undated.

Fully plant-based or options: Options only, per the AGFG tag, so ask which flavours and toppings are vegan.

Spring Rolling — 608A Melbourne Road, Spotswood VIC 3015

Spring Rolling is in Spotswood, the suburb next to Yarraville. Its site lists rice paper rolls with a choice of fillings, including Vegetable (Vegan), and describes them as packed with crisp lettuce, vermicelli noodles and aromatic herbs, served with a choice of sauce. A rice paper roll is a cold, fresh roll wrapped in translucent rice paper. The site lists hours of Monday to Friday, 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, and says weekends are closed.

Menu markers: The rice paper roll filling is labelled Vegetable (Vegan) on the site, so ask about the dipping sauce choice.

Seddon Deadly Sins — 148 Victoria Street, Seddon VIC 3011

Seddon Deadly Sins is in Seddon. Its site says, “We have plenty of vegan and gluten-free delights to enjoy.” It lists breakfast and lunch options and says it is open seven days a week from 7 AM to 3:30pm. The site is undated, so check currency.

Ask: Which items are vegan today, and whether the vegan and gluten-free options share a kitchen with other food.
